Yoga for Health and Harmony

Yoga is the most perfect lifestyle module as it is comprehensive and holistic in its nature. Yogic principles of lifestyle help to strengthen and develop positive health enabling us to withstand stress better.

The term ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. As per Yogic scriptures the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man and Nature.

I was merely four when sever cough caught me badly. Unfortunately, modern medicine didn’t offer any remedy. My parents were in pain. In between, during my vacations I had a chance to visit my grandfather’s village. Keeping in mind my health, my grandfather used to take me to the jungle in evening for a walk before the sunset. He made me eat a fruit (red) and few green leaves for 2-3 weeks, which made the cough to disappear.
