National Marketing Head Saurabh is in his 40s, weighed 90 kg and stood at 5 feet 9 inches; his BMI was well above normal and he was obviously overweight. A visit to the doctor confirmed that he was suffering from osteoarthritis. Saurabh’s problem arose from a faulty lifestyle, incorrect attitude to life and erratic eating habits.
Saurabh, a corporate executive in his 40s, woke up one cold Sunday morning with an excruciating pain in his knees; he had promised a picnic to his 10-year old son but, that will have to wait for another week or maybe longer. Rahul, his son, is sure going to be upset with his father for not keeping his weekend promise again.
However, this was nothing new for Rahul, he was used to his dad not keeping his promises. Inundated with work and caught up in the race to climb the corporate ladder, Saurabh hardly had time for his son and wife.
