AIIA and IIM-Kozhikode trains 30 AYUSH women participants in management skills
New Delhi: All India Institute of Ayurveda and Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode came together to enhance management skill among 30 women from the AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) sector.
The two day training program was organized by AIIA in New Delhi from October 30-31. The event was a part of the series of events organized on the occasion of third Ayurveda Day. The event stressed on enhancing self-awareness, improving leadership qualities, shaping strategies with the changing times, improving decision-making skills and others.
“It is heartening to see such excitement in the participants. Women empowerment is the foundation stone of a progressive society and they are often seen as equally good managers and leaders. The objective of the event was to enhance managerial and leadership skills in women professionals working in different sectors of Ayurveda, thus to build a proficient women professionals in the field of Ayurveda,” said Dr (Prof) Tanuja Manoj Nesari, Director, AIIA.
During the two-day program Pradeep Multani, Chairman, Multani Pharmaceuticals said, “It is our duty to create avenues of learning for women professionals who have not received the same chances as that of men, and we would like to take such initiatives forward.”
