Arya Vaidya Sala comes forward to salvage Ayurveda
Malappuram: Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal has begun a campaign to counter the misconceptions about Ayurveda. The campaign titled ‘Ayurvedathe Ariyuka’ began at Manjeri, evoking enthusiastic response from the people. It was a recent interactive session held at Kochi’s Changampuzha Park that prompted Arya Vaidya Sala to launch the campaign to “propagate Ayurveda in its true sense and spirit.”
“Ayurveda is not what we see in advertisements. It’s a medical science having a holistic vision that should be applied on a doctor’s advice. Unfortunately, it’s widely being misused and misconceived,” said K. Muraleedharan, superintendent and additional chief physician of Arya Vaidya Sala.
