Ayurveda and Unani Seats yet to be added to Matrix
For the first time in years, students wishing to pursue courses under the Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISMH) did not have to choose a seat in another stream just to be on the safe side simply because the ISMH seat matrix was not out. They could participate in the first round of counselling this time along with those applying for medical, engineering and other courses. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced around 269 seats for two courses under ISMH – homoeopathy and naturopathy – in June for the first round of counselling. However the seat matrix for two major courses – Ayurveda and Unani – is yet to be announced. It is expected to come by this month-end.
