Ayurveda Doctors’ Association-Nepal (ADAN) organized an awareness session on Ayurvedic medicine at Shivayog Kendra, Gaushala. Around 40 people participated in the programme, which was part of a weeklong celebration to mark the birth anniversary of Dhanwantari, father of Ayurveda, and National Health Day.
Various Ayurveda experts highlighted the role of Ayurved for healthy living and in preventing non-communicable diseases. A blood donation programme was also organized, next day followed by a scientists’ session and a health camp at the National Ayurveda Research Centre.
