Ayurveda medical officer’s examination cancelled
The examination for 722 posts of Ayurveda medical officers was conducted on May 18 and a total of 7,500 candidates had appeared for the exam at 14 different examination centres in Indore. The exam was conducted this year after a gap of 25 years.
The paper was leaked on May 5, 13 days before the exam. More than 300 students had appeared for the exam after getting the leaked questions. Dr Dwivedi, who was proof reader for question paper of MPPSC’s Ayurveda medical officer’s examination, had allegedly leaked 110 out of 120 questions to Dr Surendra Patel. STF had arrested four Ayurveda doctors and booked 26 others in this connection. Facing criticism for the paper leak, MPPSC replaced examination controller Shrikrishna Sharma with deputy exam controller Kirti Khurasia. Following the inquiry report of the Special Task Force (STF) into the paper leak scam, has cancelled the Ayurved medical officers’ examination.
The next date of examination would be announced by the MPPSC soon through the State Government’s Rojgaar and Nirman weekly career newspaper.
