Potential of Ayurveda as Immunotherapy in Oncology

Cancer being the leading cause of death accounts for 15-20% of global mortality. Although, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies have improved cancer survival statistics up to a certain extent. The various modalities for Cancer/Arbuda management in today’s era include surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation therapy etc. Ayurveda is not only confined to the diseased but also for the healthy; which makes this science stand out. The recent scenario shows high statistics of lifestyle disorders which include the deadliest Cancer or Arbuda. WHO marks Cancer as the leading cause of death as 1 out of 6 global death is due to Cancer.
