New Delhi. Vaidyacharya Laxman das Ratan Bhardwaj of Delhi wanted to own a TV Channel to publicize his Ayurveda practice and products but after the said investment he found that his 5 crores are vanished. The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar Jha according to police reports. It is to be noted that popularity of Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality , Ayurveda and some alternative medicines has been on rise since last ten years. A huge investment is done in the field of TV and online visual platforms. Apart from late night sponsored programs on enhancing joy and gain physical power through Ayurveda, many talk shows are run on some news channels by different brands. Time slot is purchased for such programs. Some channels are dedicated to this category , run by corporates or Gurus themselves. During lock-down , digital marketing and branding is seen as powerful medium. On the other hand, data availability to a larger mobile user base has opened new avenues.
It is no surprise that Vaidyacharya Bhardwaj was keen to own a channel. YouTube is a popular platform but owning a satellite channel is altogether different. And yes, nothing wrong in it. But, when persons like Jha are hired, story turns sour. Superficial credentials allure you. You don’t go for thorough check and at the core of your idea, knowledge of the TV industry is not at all your domain. Running a successful channel and to own a channel – are two different things. As per NDTV reports The ayurvedic practitioner (vaidyacharya), Laxman Das Bhardwaj, came in contact with Sunil Kumar Jha during promotion of his ayurveda items. Anyways, according to news agencies, Sunil Kumar Jha launched himself as the top of a devotional TV channel. He additionally launched his spouse as an professional having all technical data to run a TV channel. Indian Express reports, the complainant alleged that Jha made a proposal and induced him to establish his own TV channel, for which he gave around Rs 5 crore to the accused. Later, the complainant got to know that Jha cheated him. Circle of Ayurveda practitioners are shocked after the news is erupted. “.. But, you have to be vigilant. Competition and demand for Ayurveda is on high and it is being harder to identify genuine players with fake ones”, said a senior Vaidya .
