Ayurvedic doctor to receive Aryrbhatta Award
Mumbai based Ayurvedic Doctor Amar Dwivedi has been chosen for the International Aryrbhatta Award by the Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (AAPNA). AAPNA is one of the pioneer organizations of registered Ayurvedic specialists based in the USA. Dr. Dwivedi will be conferred with the award during the eighth international conference on “Ayurveda & Cancer Care” scheduled to take place between October 3 and 6 in Las Vegas, NV, the USA.
Presently, Dr. Dwivedi is working as an associate professor and in charge of the surgery department in Dr. D.Y. Patil Ayurvedic Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He is a well known proctologist and ano-rectal surgeon in Thane and is the director of SARC (Speciality Ano-Rectal Clinic). This award was conferred upon him for inclusion of his book Ayurved & Cardiac disorders in the syllabus of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
