AYUSH ministry to ink agreement with WHO to promote Ayurveda
AYUSH Ministry will soon be entering into an agreement with the WHO to popularise Ayurveda across the world. The step is being taken to aim is to achieve a healthy population.
Union Minister Shripad Yesso Naik was speaking during the foundation stone laying ceremony for the hospital block of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute for Metabolic Disorders (RARIMD) in Bengaluru. He said, “This will prove to be one of the major steps towards creating a healthy society and to popularize AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) systems of medicine at the global platform.”
