Central team inspects infra in Ayurveda College
A three-member team of Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) visited the government-run KavirajAnantaTripathy Sharma (KATS) AyurvedMahavidyalaya, Ankushapur, Orissa to inspect available infrastructure. The college has several facilities. At the same time, there is room for improvement.
The 36-year-old ayurveda college has 28 teachers at present, against the total strength of 35. The college also has a three-acre herbal garden with medicinal plants and a mini-pharmacy to produce ayurvedic medicines. It has a 100-bed hospital which has average daily occupancy of 60 to 70.
