Dabur launches Glycodab for diabetes
Telangana: For checking diabetes, Dabur India has recently developed a product in partnership with the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Union Ministry of Ayush.
Announcing the launch of Glycodab tablets, the company’s head of marketing (ethicals) Durga Prasad Velidindi, said the product was backed by clinical studies and scientific experiments. He said India is among top three countries with high number of diabetic population. There were 69.1 million cases of diabetes in 2015.
Patients in India preferred herbal and botanical extracts as medical interventions, he said, adding Dabur was working with the Ministry to commercialise a few other Ayurveda products.
