Egyptian student wins second prize in My Life My Yoga contest
Egyptian student Shams Abdullah Butler won the second prize in the category “Female Youth” in the Global Video Blogging Contest “My Life My Yoga”, organised by the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH), India. The contest was held in celebration of the International Day of Yoga. The competition encouraged Yoga Practitioners worldwide to share their yoga experiences. The contest enthused an overwhelming response and 39,866 entries were received from 130 countries. Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture, Embassy of India, Egypt, organised the country level competition of “My Life My Yoga” Video Blogging Contest in June 2020 in which 26 Egyptians participated of which 11 were selected as country-level winners in different categories.
