India Offers 20 Scholarships for Malaysians to Pursue Traditional Medicine

The government of India is offering 20 scholarships for Malaysian students to pursue courses in the “Traditional System of Medicine” for the 2014-2015 academic sessions.

Its High Commission here said the scholarships were for four bachelor’s degree programmes, namely Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery (11 seats), Siddha Medicine & Sciences (five seats), Unani Medicine & Surgery (two seats) and Homeopathy Medicine & Surgery (two seats).The candidates need to have proficiency in English and no serious health problems, among the criteria for eligibility to attend the courses. Application forms are invited from interested candidates.
