Jamaica keen on Ayurveda
‘CARe KERALAM’ (Confederation for Ayurvedic Renaissance-Keralam Ltd.) – A joint venture of Ayurvedic entrepreneurs and KINFRA (Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Co-operation) and KSIDC (Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation) discussed the collaborative trading of Ayurvedic products with the Tourism department of Jamaica. Representatives of prominent Ayurvedic Institutes of Kerala like Kottakkal Arya Vidya Sala, Nagarjuna, Kerala Ayurveda and Punarnava were present. Prime Minister of Jamaica will be visiting CARe KERALAM in recent future.
Anthony Hylton, Minister of Industry, Investment & Commerce, Jamaica, visited Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Centre in Kalady. He is in India at the invitation of the government to strengthen business ties between the two countries. Jamaica is looking at India, especially Kerala, to promote Ayurveda in the country. Devadas Namboodiripad, Chairman, Nagarjuna Ayurvedic Group, and other senior doctors welcomed the Minister and took him for a tour of the hospital followed by a presentation on the business opportunities. The visit was facilitated by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation.
