Jiva Ayurveda signs MoU with Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar
Jiva Ayurveda, in its quest to propagate research and training in the field of Ayurveda has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gujarat Ayurved University (GAU). Gujarat Ayurved University is the oldest and one of the most esteemed universities in India. The MoU was signed by Dr. Partap Chauhan, Director, Jiva Ayurveda and Registrar of Gujarat Ayurved University, Shri R. M. Jhala, in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Ayurved University, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha at Jamnagar, Gujarat.
Jiva and Gujarat Ayurved University also have an understanding to undertake Ayurveda research, formulating new treatment protocols, and undertaking clinical studies in Ayurveda at Faridabad, Haryana. Also, a student exchange programs will be started for sharing knowledge between students, faculties and Doctors of both the institutes. This landmark agreement will help formulate strong practices and treatment protocols in Ayurveda and will assist the Ayurvedic community in establishing best practices and maintain high treatment standards in the field of Ayurveda.
Jiva Ayurveda operates with 28 clinics spanning over ten states in India and a first-of-its-kind telemedicine center situated at Faridabad. Jiva Telemedicine center has more than 300 experienced Ayurvedic doctors providing telephonic consultations to patients across 1500 cities and towns in India reaching out to more than 25,000 patients every month. It is also the first company to introduce an Ayurvedic doctor on-call service in India for Airtel, Vodafone and Tata Docomo mobile subscribers.
Jiva Ayurveda has also collaborated with various institutes in more than 25 countries to popularize Ayurveda worldwide and to provide authentic ayurvedic support to the patients suffering from chronic diseases across the globe.
