Kerala govt to organise global ayurveda meet in February
Kerala government will organise an international seminar and ayurveda expo in Kochi in February next year, Health Minister KK Shailaja has said.
The four-day seminar will showcase Kerala’s achievements in health tourism, healthcare and ayurveda, she said after inaugurating the Ayurveda Day celebrations the other day.
Apart from leading firms and experts in the field, well-known names in the economic and business sectors will also take part in the event, she said.
According to the Minister, the State government is moving ahead with the plan to set up International Research Institute of Ayurveda (IRIA) for conducting research in ayurveda.
