Modern technologies can help endorse Ayurveda: AYUSH Minister
New Delhi: AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik inaugurated the two days National Seminar on Entrepreneurship and Business Development in Ayurveda in New Delhi on Sunday. While addressing the gathering AYUSH Minister highlighted the new initiatives taken by the government in the last four years to increase the market size of Ayurveda.
He also pointed out the ardent need to use modern technologies to promote Ayurveda in the country as India boasts of 20 Lakh medicines in Ayurveda.
Talking about the seminar Shripad Naik adhered, “The seminar is organised to encourage young entrepreneurs to use modern technologies and highlight opportunities at global level.”
Present on the occasion were CEO NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant who said, “Ayurveda medicine is India’s biggest gift to the world and there is massive opportunity in Ayurveda. It is really important to retain the medicinal purity of Ayurveda. There is numerous business and job opportunity in Ayurveda”
