Nadi Parikshan Tools not validated from CCRAS

New Delhi: Nadi Parikshan tools are not validated from Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) till yet. Director General, CCRAS Prof. Vaidya Kartar Singh Dhiman said this to Ayurved Sutra. He said, ‘Nadi Parikshan tools should be validated from Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences.’

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of AYUSH for the formulation, coordination, development and promotion of research on scientific lines in Ayurveda.

“They are doing monologues only. If their tool of pulse analysis is effective, CCRAS is ready to give them an opportunity to validate their tool. Companies come, they inform us about their product and that is it. There is no dialogue,” stated Prof. Dhiman.

He further added that Nadi Pariksha (examination of pulse) is an experiential personal domain of a vaidya. Nadi is not only about what pulse reflects, but it encapsulates the total knowledge of the health science, which is reflected and supported by the health science. He said, ‘if they will come, we will invite nadi vaidyas.

Top Nadi Vaidyas will perform pulse analysis of the people and will write a report. On the other side, same people will be examined with the tool. If the analysis coincides, we will validate the tool.’
