New Ayurvedic centre offers free Indian therapeutic porridge
Ontario Wellness Ayurvedic Centre, Dubai, is trying to bring pure Ayurveda treatment and rejuvenation and detoxification therapies to the people in all level income groups in the UAE. The newly opened center in Dubai, as a start-up and first-of-its-kind initiative, is offering free consultation with DHA approved Dr Shameema and distribution of Oushdha Kanji (herbal porridge) in the month of November. This will help in familiarization of the importance of Ayurveda among UAE nationals and the expatriate communities in the UAE.
The herbal porridge is proven to enhance and strengthen the body immune system and will complement the detoxification strategies to boost immunity. It can help the human body withstand seasonal changes, especially during the course of seasonal change from summer to spring passing through a rainy season. According to Ayurveda, the Malayalam month of Karkidaka (Cancer) is time for preventive therapies. The month is known for rains and diseases in Kerala. A similar kind of weather change, from summer to winter, happens in the Gulf region during November. So the center is introducing the porridge treatment here for the first time. Ayurveda recommends Ritucharya (seasonal life style changes and diet plans) for each season to defend the body from the lashes of changing seasons.
