न जायते म्रियते वा कदाचि
नायं भूत्वा भविता वा न भूय: |

The soul is neither born, nor does it ever die; nor having once existed, does it ever cease to be. The soul is without birth, eternal, immortal, and ageless. It is not destroyed when the body is destroyed.

Dr Vinod Verma left us on 15 March 2020.
Along with a doctorate degree in reproduction biology in India, Dr. Verma studied Neurobiology in Paris University and obtained a second doctorate. She pursued advanced research at the National Institutes of Health in Neurology, Bethesda (USA) and the Max-Planck Institute in Freiburg, Germany. At the peak of her career in medical research in a pharmaceutical company in Germany, she realised that the modern approach to health care is basically fragmented and non-holistic.She has studied Ayurveda in the traditional Guru-shishya style with Acharya Priya Vrat Sharma of the Benares Hindu University . She started her efforts to popularize the very essence of Ayurveda. Dr. Verma was an ardent researcher and worked hard to compile the living tradition of Ayurveda and spread it in the world through her books and other activities. She has published twenty seven books on yoga, Ayurveda, Women and Companionship. The books are published in German, English and various other languages of the world.
Dr Rajele jain had been with Dr. Verma in Dunda (Uttarakhand) until March 13th, two days before the official date of her leaving, that is March 15th. Daughter of a German mother and Indian father, Rajele has a strong connection to India, which she visits as often as she can. She is DIRECTOR at International Film Festival for FILMS ON ART PORTUGAL and works on artistic projects and research in the fields of interdisciplinary and transcultural topics. Often focussing on themes related to Indian and Western ideas about life, art, health and peace.
They were working on Rajele’s new film that is on Yoga and Ayurveda, on the development of short videos that they wanted to publish as a youtube channel and on new ideas in how to continue the work of Dr. Verma’s New Health Organization. Both have been working together since almost 5 years.Dr Rajele has edited and also translated books of her, invited her for lectures to Indian festival in Lisboa, Portugal etc.
When she was with her in March, she was talking about Ayurved Sutra magazine and showed her several issues and also her articles that Ayurved Sutra has published.
Dr Vinod Verma was a dedicated and pure soul inseparable with Ayurveda.
