Pranayam with Vyayam
Deep Vein thrombosis or deep venous thrombosis (DVT) is the formation of a blood clot (thrombus) with a deep vein, predominantly in the legs. Deep inside the calf muscles of legs, there is a plexus of deep veins, where the blood tends to pool when the muscles are nor active. Prolonged pooling of blood in these veins as occurs in long distance air travel or forced immobilization in bed, predisposes to clot formation.
