Sanjeev Goyal nominated as Member Governing Body of RAV
Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar Board of Ayurveda Punjab and Vice President Akhil Bhartiya Ayurveda Maha Sammelan has been nominated as Member Governing Body of Rashtriya Vidyapeeth(RAV) by the department of Ayush, Government of India. The term of Dr. Goyal as member would be for 5 years. The governing body would promote the ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’ besides holding seminars, workshops, training programmesand maintaining Nodal Centres meant for implementing the Continuing Medical Education scheme across the country. Assuming new assignment, Dr. Goyal said that he would work towards promoted and strengthening Ayurveda especially in Northern Region and the tradition of “Guru Shishya” would also be encouraged as the Ayurveda was the growing need of an hour. He also added that qualified Ayurveda practitioners would be identified and given adequate platform to impart highly expertise training to Ayurveda graduates from this region.
