Bengluru.Double Commonwealth Games gold medalist weightlifter Sathish Sivalingam is under Ayurveda Therapy and expected to recover within seven weeks. He is keen to join his training in Patiala after the recovery. He was shattered to the core when doctors told him that he could only start training after four months, after thigh injury in Jakarta Asian Games. He was suffering from acute pain and his left thigh muscles were severely injured. But, after returning to India, he underwent Ayurveda treatment under Dr Shaji Kannoth. Within 10 days Sivalingam felt better and confident. Now a group of experts is working with him and he is expected on ground soon. Sathish thanked Indian weightlifting Federation, Invictus Performance and GoSports Foundation for their supportin treatment and belief in him.
