Shanti Maurice re-launches spa with fresh concept, treatments and packages

Mauritian luxury resort Shanti Maurice has re-launched its spa to offer a brand new concept: ‘A Journey around the World through Wellbeing’. The re-launch includes new product ranges, signature treatments and packages themed around the three major wellbeing philosophies of ‘Oriental’, ‘Indian’ and ‘Natural-Bio’.

In the Oriental zone, treatments are inspired by Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Balinese therapies and the Oriental signature treatment is ‘Tibetan Sound Massage’. In the Indian zone, wide range of Ayurvedic treatments including Abhyanga, Abhydhara, Pizchili, Shirodhara and Choornaswedana are offered and the signature treatment is ‘Shanti-dhara’. The Natural-Bio zone offers are a range of body scrubs and wraps using natural products such as coffee, brown sugar, coconut, papaya and banana leaves and the signature treatment ‘Aromasoul Elements Massage’.

Throughout, the resort has remained true to its natural, organic philosophy, while offering a more cultural experience. Greater focus has been given to the personalization of the individual guest experience, with therapy consultations and bespoke treatment programmes. It offers different treatment packages with light refreshments and special wellness and detox menus are available at the restaurant. In addition, Shanti Maurice has given greater focus to supporting mindfulness and a healthy lifestyle with fitness and wellbeing sessions.
