Siddha doctors lay stress on Nilavembu Kudineer
DINDIGUL, TAMIL NADU: Senior Siddha doctors have decided to intensify awareness of consuming Nilavembu Kudineer and its importance among the public so as to control dengue and other viral diseases, The Hindu reports.
This decision was taken at a special meeting of Siddha doctors belonging to the 1982-83 batch of Government Siddha Medical College in Palayamkottai, who had assembled in Kodaikanal for a meet here recently. Total support from the government and effective community participation was needed to show the importance of Nilavembu Kudineer to more people in the State, they added. Nilavembu was an effective Siddha medicine for prevention of several viral infections and fevers, said Dindigul Corporation Hospital Siddha doctor M. Azhagarsamy.
