Tripura to introduce Yoga in primary classes
Following the footstep of many states, Tripura have finally decided to introduce Yoga Classes for primary classes in the schools. The step has been taken keeping in mind the health benefits Yoga has.
The classes will commence from the next academic year beginning January in government-run and government-aided schools from classes one to eight. Though, the new concept of Yoga classes will not be introduced in all schools because of the dearth of yoga teachers in the state.
The plan has already been made. The state is seeking support from yoga associations.
