Yoga sessions for Central government employees, dependents
Yoga sessions were organized for Central government employees and their dependents by the ‘Grih Kalyan Kendra’, a welfare society working under the aegis of the Centre. The yoga sessions were organized in the month of December, six days in a week (Monday to Saturday) between 7-9 AM at five centers of the GrihKalyan Kendra (GKK).
The GKK functions under the aegis of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to promote social, economic, cultural and educational activities for the welfare of Central government employees and their families. There are about 31 lakh Central government employees.
