Diabetes can be reversed
As many as 15 generations of Dr Vijay Pratap Kushvaha, Founder, Ayurvita has been serving the society and sensitizing people about the benefits of Ayurveda. He speaks to Shruti Prabhakar about treating Diabetes with Ayurveda and his expansion plans
How did you conceive the idea of Ayurvita?
I am an Ayurveda graduate. But I have gone through the beauty of Nutraceuticals and vitamins. This helped me gave the name Ayurvita. Ayur for ayurveda and Vita is vitamins and nutraceuticals.
Why did you choose Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is in my blood. We have been ayurvedic physicians since last 15 generations. I followed the footsteps of my family tradition. To start with, I took my formal education in ayurveda and then joined Maharishi European University in 1992 as a lecturer of Ayurveda and consultant. After my stint with Maharishi European University, I worked at different places in different countries.
