Organic food is safer, more nutritious, and often better tasting than non-organic food. And organic production is better for the environment and kinder to animals.
For the last some decades we have been hearing a lot about the benefits of vegetarianism. Vegetarianism became popular globally in the 20th century as a result of nutritional/health, ethical, environmental and economic concerns. ‘Going green’ became the thing to do. Vegetarian Societies cropped up in almost all the countries, and the International Vegetarian Union was founded in 1908 in Germany, as an umbrella organisation to help the vegetarian societies promote vegetarianism in the world.
