My journey with Marma Science

If we desire to combat successfully the scourge of diseases from which everyone is suffering if we wish to improve the health status in our country and globally or if we wish to remodel our health system and lay the foundation of a strong and progressive nation we must make the fullest use of the natural power of self-healing which in inherent in every individual.

I have started my journey with Ayurveda specially Marma Science, as a student of BAMS in Rishikul Ayurvedic College, Hardwar in 1976-77, with first exposure to Marma Science. It was narrated by our teachers, that it is an important chapter of Susruta Samhita with hidden information. This topic ‘Marma Nirdeshiya’ was the source of one question in the theory exam and few queries of practical viva-voice.
