A doctor by profession, Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and MoS for Ministry of Civil Aviation (India), Government of India, is a staunch follower of Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS.) He actively associated with ABVP during his student days and thereafter joined BJP as an active member. He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Kailash Healthcare Limited.
