Shastrokt Ayurveda A Scientific Way of Life
Shastrokt Ayurveda is a comprehensive ancient health system that originated in India more than 5000 years ago. Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita (around 400 BC-200 AD) and Ashtanga Hridaya of Vagbhata are man classics texts, which give detailed descriptions over 700 herbs and 6000 formulations. Madhav Nidan, one of the structuring dynamics of RK Veda, around 800 AD used a diagnostic classic which highlights sign and symptoms of more than 5000 diseases
