Nouf Marwaai, who teaches yoga to thousands in the Islamic nation has had an uphill task to make the profession official. She started approaching the Saudi government authorities in 2005 but to no avail. She finally approached the princess Reema Bint Bandar Alsaud who was chosen to be the Deputy of the General Sports Authority a member of the Royal Council, who also started the basketball for women in Saudi Arabia. She assured her that things are changing and they will soon approve sports for women.
