Father and You
Because we are so busy studying and playing, we don’t have time to look at the nature of interbeing, of our father and of ourselves. When we grow up, sometimes we get angry at our father and our mother. But in the wisdom of the Buddha, to get angry at your father is to get angry at yourself, because you are the continuation of your father. You are your father. The fact is that you cannot take your father out of you.
