Exercises for Deviated Nasal Septum
Nasal septum is a thin midline partition in the nose dividing its cavity in two nostrils. The septum mainly consists of two paper thin bones and a cartilage. The cartilage is its pliable part in front part of the septum. The septum, instead of being straight in midline, is frequently bent on one side. This is known as Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS). Minor deviations are mostly symptomless. Major deviations or minor deviation associated with nasal allergy cause disabling symptoms of nose block, difficulty in breathing , snoring and sleep apnea.
