Wellness Bloggers Meet, Edition 2

After the stupendous success of Wellness Bloggers Meet, Edition: I @ NIMBA, Ahmedabad we were faced with number of questions . What will be the motto of the Edition II? How many Bloggers? What are we aiming at? What will be the Destination? How can we make it better? One of them was how to magnify our achievement? There were endless questions, but the most important was choosing our next destination? The promise was of the ‘Best Destination’ that offers Ayurveda in its true sense.

When Abhilash K Ramesh, Group Director, Kairali Ayurvedic Group approved of our plan, we were really happy as it was a step towards strengthening our relationship. On the other side we were in constant dilemma as to what ‘New’ we can offer through our Wellness Bloggers Meet, Edition II @ Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village, Palakkad, Kerala. However, Abhilash’s words came as a relief when he assured that the stay for the group of Bloggers will be fresh, unexpected and pleasant.

And he was right. To host the Bloggers, K V Ramesh, Managing Director, Kairali Ayurvedic Group and Joint Managing Director Mrs. Gita Ramesh, Kairali Ayurvedic Group were themselves present in spite of their busy schedules. And not to forget, Wellness Bloggers did take the advantage of the opportunity and had an extended interaction session with Mr. Ramesh and Mrs. Gita. Selection Process

We had two months to select the Bloggers for the Wellness Bloggers Meet, Edition-II @Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village (16-19 February, 2017). We had started with our registration process through our initiative ‘Wellness Bloggers Community’. Along with, online and offline campaign had already kicked off. We had received tremendous response from various platforms. In total, 490 Bloggers had approached us from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune and Thiruvananthapuram. They all had an impressive Alexa Ranking, Facebook Likes, Twitter Followers, Instagram Positions and YouTube Vlogs. Foreign Bloggers also approached us. Some, in fact told us that from beginning of their careers in Blogging they had wished and wanted to visit Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village. To add on, we got 50 new registrations of the bloggers at our stall during the New Delhi World Book Fair (7-15 January, 2017).

After a rigorous selection process the Bloggers who were selected were Bhumika Thakkar (www.newlove-makeup.com ), Nidhi K M (www.viharin.com ), Shivangi Sinha (www.shivangireviews.com) & Dollie Solanki (www.indianshringar.com/ ).

Why Kairali?

Talking about her stay at Kairali, Nidhi K M said that the whole process is based on how best Ayurved can heal a person and bring fitness level to a better quotient.

Experiencing ‘The Destination’

Kerala is not generally hot in February. However, as we stepped down at the Coimbatore Airport and started our journey to Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village, Palakkad, we realized that this time summers will be difficult. In fact, while visiting various centers at Palakkad and Pattambhi we were informed that the local river in the city has all dried up. Not to mention that for an Ayurvedic Center water is the ‘Lifeline’. But the lush of greenery at Kairali, which is spread over 60 acres, had a different story to tell. “There was lots of greenery and adequate arrangements were done for the availability of water. There is no better place to get inside nature and rejuvenate with natural medicine than the sweet scented forests of Kerala’s Pala trees. Time spent at this unique jungle paradise will allow you to experience the authentic healing practices of ancient India, while relaxing in the lap of modern holistic luxury,” informs Bhumika Thakkar.

At the time when there is a constant debate on whether Ayurvedic treatments take longer to heal or not, let me tell you that within three days I was relieved from Acidity and Back Pain. In addition, I had been feeling a lot of improvement in my eyesight with the medicine recommended by the doctor at Kairali. For relaxation, revival and rejuvenation and also for curing ailments quickly I personally can recommend Kairali.

The Village is built in such a way that the traditional Kerala architecture combines with complete adherence to the dictates of “Vastu”. Each Villa (There are 30 Villas, Category: Maharaja Suite, Royal Villa, Classic Villa, Deluxe Villa) is named after Malayalam astrological signs. The trees planted around each cottage have been selected according to astrological tenets.
